Howdy!
My name is Frase and this is my website, the
coolest place on the intarweb! Not really... it's nowhere near as cool
as this website, but that's one
high standard to live up to - I still think my site is pretty cool. So
here I mostly just
write stuff about what I've been doing, shamelessly plug things I dig, and
occasionally rant or complain about things that I anti-dig (actually, that's
probably more often than not).
I live about an hour north of Brisbane (Australia, not
California) in the quiet little town of Burpengary, which is neither quiet
not little. I work at the local Super Cheap Auto, which
is a pretty good place to work.
I'm studing Computer Systems Engineering at UQ, which I really enjoy but
it's a lot of work. At time of writing, it's three years
down and two to go. I dread the nine-to-fiver.
Hmmm... what else is there to say? I spend a lot of my time in front
of the computer ('the computer' being a collective term for my many
computers), doing assorted things - the most mentionable of which is
working on Blogurk. I also play
Counter-Strike... a lot. Would it surprise you to learn that I'm single?
Though so...
I do have a life outside of computers of course. I'm a leader at
Rivers Youth, a local youth
ministry. I also eat things and go outside from time to time. And I
fully dig music. Especially the many and varied forms of dance music,
but plenty of other stuff as well. My favourite band (by a very, very large
margin) is 311. Also ranking highly on my list of
arists to be listened to are The Cat Empire,
Soma Rasa
and everyone's favourite Nordic DJ, Darude.
